Melissa and Sean
Sean and I went on our first date in June 2012. I was going to be moving away to college in the fall and he was finishing up his final college classes so it wasn't starting as a serious thing. Fast forward to move in day and I had a pit in my stomach. I knew it must have been something more than just a summer fling. We kept in touch every single day and he visited me a couple times and I ended up transferring to a college closer to home for my next three years of college. We were able to make it work. I knew we were made for each other.
When I graduated college in June 2016, it was the turning point for us as we moved into our first apartment together. We were really able to start the next chapter of our life together.
Fast forward again and in January of 2018 Sean got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. We knew we wanted a June wedding so it was June 2019 on the radar. We were both born on the 29th (me in November, Sean in August and even our dog Winston was in March) so we had our eye on June 29th and lucky enough that day was a Saturday.
Despite the humidity it was the best day of our lives. We got married in my family's church and the reception at the beautiful Lake of Isles.
I always knew I wanted a ballroom wedding reception and I also always knew I was going to be a Hayley Paige bride. As a matter of fact I always knew Dori was going to be my dress, even long before we were engaged.
