Zach and I met and started dating our junior year of high school where we were both captains of our high school's cross country team! We stayed together through college and fast forward eight years to our wedding day!! We got married in Winston Salem, NC surrounded by 220 of our family and friends! Our ceremony was at St. Leo's Catholic Church (Zach went to elementary and middle school there!) and our reception was at Bermuda Run Country Club. I absolutely knew I wanted to be a Hayley Paige bride even long before I got engaged, from watching SYTTD and I was incredibly lucky to find my DREAM dress with my mom & my sister (my MOH) at the first bridal salon we went to! My INCREDIBLE dress (Haruki) and all of our bridesmaid's dresses were Hayley Paige, from Nitsa's Apparel in Winston Salem. I went to Nitsa's specifically because I knew they carried Hayley Paige dresses there! They told me while we were there that they had Hayley Paige bridesmaid dresses too so I knew my girls had to be in her dresses as well! Our wedding colors were dusty/pewter blue and blush/Almond so my MOH was in Pewter while the rest of my bridesmaids were in Almond! We had the most incredible wedding and would not have changed a thing!

A quick backstory on the wedding pictures of Zach and I sitting on the back of the black Corvette...When I was six years old I saw a picture of my Papa when he was in his 20's with a Corvette so I told him I wanted a Corvette one day like his, he responded with telling me he would get me one! Fast forward to when I turned 16, he took a train from San Diego (where my Nana and Papa lived) up to LA where he met the producer of "Extreme Makeover Home Edition" at his house where he had a 1996 Corvette covered in the garage that had barely been driven. He pulled off the BEST surprise ever and bought it for me!! He passed away in 2011 so that was the one piece of him that I knew I wanted in our wedding. Needless to say, we had the most special getaway car!
