Charles and I began dating January 1, 2011 when we were 15 and 16 years old. We were so excited to begin planning our wedding after all these years dreaming about it. We wanted something small, intimate, and romantic. Our wedding colors incorporated blushes, rose gold and creams to compliment the greenery of the outdoors, as well as the additional touches of succulents for my husband who loves them, and peonies for me. Our ceremony was outside on a deck with rose petals, candles and lanterns. You may also notice an appearance of our fur baby, Sprinkles! She is our mini dachshund puppy who means the world to us :) We snuck away during the reception to take photos at the beautiful Donner Pass overlooking Donner Lake, and the views were picture perfect. Afterwards, we had BBQ for dinner, and everyone kicked back, relaxed and had cocktails made by Charles' father. Of course, every wedding needs dessert.. We had bite sized desserts and a wedding cake made by me! We slow danced on the patio just as the sun set, and everything felt perfect. The day was nothing short of amazing.
