Dan and I met via an online dating app. I knew I wanted to marry Dan a month after we started dating. I needed major surgery and during my recovery, I was staying with family. He visited me in the hospital and at least once a week until I was released. Once I recovered, we moved in and before our one year mark, we had purchased a condo in Boston and adopted a husky puppy. Since then, he has stood by me through two additional surgeries. We tied the knot 10 months ago, in a beautiful church ceremony not far from our condo (and where Dan was baptized a mere six months prior). We lucked out and woke up to snow. It was a perfect day, filled with love and smiles.
