In the summer of 2014, a boy from Long Island and a girl from Brooklyn swiped right on each other. They met on a rainy day in July, with one going up the escalator and the other going down. She did double takes the whole time not sure if he really was the guy. After, they embarked on a rainy bar hop through New York City with each stop bringing more sunshine, vodka, and butterflies.
Over their four years together they have traveled to 12 countries, 18 states, enjoyed countless bowls of pho, and have shared untold experiences. On June of 2018, they decided to embark on their biggest adventure yet: on the footsteps of their first date, in front of friends and family—and a rainbow unicorn—she said “yes!” this time, without a doubt in her mind that he was the one.
