Kevin and I met during our senior year of college at USC; seven years and three cities later, we became engaged on vacation in Rome. We planned our wedding to take place in my hometown, Dallas, at the same church that my parents and grandparents married in. After waking up to torrential rain, thunder and lighting, and hail on the wedding day, the skies briefly cleared for our evening ceremony! Knowing that we had a traditional evening ceremony in a church, I fell absolutely in love with my sparkling gown... it caught the light beautifully all night and was so fun and unique! Thankfully we had already planned to bring the outdoors in, creating an indoor garden party featuring a hedge wall and garden gate, lots of spring blooms in pinks, purples, and whites, and the night sky projected on the ceiling. The highlight of the evening was the surprise appearance of the USC Trojan Marching Band, which flew all the way in from California to celebrate with us and our guests!
