Lindsay Kostruba and Michael Kostruba

Michael and I met my senior year of college at Syracuse University. He was visiting with a high school friend who was dating my sorority sister. We hit it off and dated long distance from CT to NJ where I lived immediately after college graduation. I got my first job in NYC that summer and commuted to CT every weekend..alas..we were young and Michael wasn't so sure the distance thing would work. I was devastated and we broke up but ALWAYS remained friends....eight years later he finally realized he couldn't forget about me, nor I him. In 2011, I left NJ and moved up to CT. He surprised me with a weekend in Syracuse and proposed at the very spot where he first noticed me! The driveway of my old sorority!!! We married in NJ a week before Hurricane Sandy and the rest is history!! Two boys later, life in CT is pretty good. My Lazaro gown I bought in NJ at Jaehee Bridal continues to be my most precious memory.
