Samantha and Steve

From the moment we were engaged in the September 17, Sam knew there was only one season she wanted the wedding in - Winter! Quickly the theme was decided to be based on her favourite book ‘The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe’ by C.S Lewis with the tag ‘Always winter, never Christmas’.

We choose a winter wonderland with lots of low lighting and candles, winter themed flowers were everywhere and a dramatic bouquet was always a must on the wish list.

Both of us are serving soldiers in the British Army so Steve wearing his military uniform was a request by both mums, and up holding our traditions into our serve was a must, this included a port toast at the end of the vows.
